Brooklyn Wild Parrot Safari, 12 Noon, this Saturday, Feb. 2. Meet at Brooklyn College's Hillel Gate, intersection of Hillel Place and Campus Road. There are thousands of wild green parrots in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut who are descended from those who are thought to have escaped from a crate of parrots that broke open at JFK airport many years ago.
